Top 10 Beauties of Bollywood at Star Screen Award 2016

Award functions nights are the most anticipated time in the Bollywood industry, and if the award show is the power packed Star Screen Award, then the excitement and enthusiasm are sky high. The 22nd Star Screen Award 2016 was much awaited night for everyone, it was even the night filled with glamour, inspiring fashion and of course accolades. Though celebrities who are known for their amazing fashion sense, such as Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai were missing from the high profile function, but there were some exquisite tinsel town ladies who stole our hearts with their phenomenal choice of  power dressing and which definitely many fashion faithful girls would be crushing on. It was very difficult for us to choose the top 10 best dressed celebrities of the tinsel town, alas we finally made our list, check them.

Sonam Kapoor:

Without any doubts, she has to be placed at number one. This fashion queen definitely knows how to look sizzling hot and magical in a black jumpsuit. The Elie Saab jumpsuit from the Fall 2015 collection made her look a class apart. The keyhole like neckline added an oomph factor to the dress. She completed her look with embellished sheer net full sleeve jacket and a stylish golden belt. What we loved were her stylish boots and perfect makeup. The curls just made her look picture perfect.

 Sonakshi Sinha:

The next on our list is our Asli Sona. Yes, Sonakshi Sinha looked inspiring in Gauri and Nainika red wine evening gown. She is voluptuous and gracefully carried her look in the gown. She gives a feel of the vintage singer with her hairstyle, minimal makeup and of course the gown. She completed her look with dainty and sophisticated chandelier earrings. We give her brownie points for her ever glowing skin that radiates her look beautiful.

 Shilpa Shetty:

This leggy lass, yummy mummy is definitely a style queen. She was sported wearing Monisha Jaising electrifying gown. The gown was just made for a hot body like hers. The plunging deep neckline and full sleeves were utter gorgeousness. Her makeup complemented her shimmering gown, what we are crushing on is her ombre waves, doesn’t that look heavenly?

Aditi Rao Hydari:

This sensational beauty is all worth drooling for. She wore Gaurav Gupta gown for the evening and looked class apart. We love the floral prints adorned over her upper bodice which is the current craze in the fashion world. The fish cut, pop of red lipstick and mascara are worth nothing. The no jewelry look lets the fish tail floral gown to set the magic on. Aditi Rao has been in the news for her amazing sense of dressing, be it ethnic wear or western wear she is understatedly elegant and charming. We wish to see more of her impressive style statement.

Athiya Shetty:

The new leggy lass of B town, Athiya Shetty picked up Gauri and Nainika pink gown which looks reviving and classy. The deep neckline, and flaps in her gown gives a youthful look, she kept her makeup minimal which allowed her gown to be the highlight. She definitely maintained a distinct look from the crowd.

Divya Khosla Kumar:

These days only handful celebrities prefer the timeless saree for award functions. But thanks to Divya Khosla to drape a saree for this function. Divya wore Shehla Khan saree and looked resplendent, the georgette lehenga with net dupatta are adorned with patch work. The subtle shades bring a soft look to her persona. To accent her look, she tried the retro hairstyle which looks flawlessly classy on her. Her winged eye makeup and pearl necklace brought elegance beyond compare.

Jacqueline Fernandez:

She was another diva who wore saree for the Star Screen Award. Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla designer saree had frills attached to the border which looked feminine. The white net saree with broad border work and stylish cut blouse does not only look sexy but even celestial. Her side partitioned hair and hoop earrings makes her look younger, classy and sophisticated. We are happy that she wore saree, hoping that other Bollywood beauties take cue from her and wear mesmerising sarees for the red carpet.

Harshali Malhotra:

We had to add this cutie pie in the best dressed celebs. Doesn’t she look stunning and beautiful in the crimson frock. Her manes and cute face are worth looking for. She is a sheer delight both onscreen and off screen. We hope she does more of the films, so that we can keep treating our eyes with her endearing looks.

Mini Mathur:

We loved her Indo western look, she looked stunning. The Tisha Saksena royal blue dress, should we call it jumpsuit or tulip style skirt saree with cigarette pants? Whatever this is she carried it charmingly. The embellished quarter sleeve jacket completes the look of this outfit. Her wavy bangs and subtle makeup was spot on. It was nice to see her wearing a pair of statement earrings.

Shriya Saran:

This Southern siren  looks tantalizing in Manish Malhotra’s green gown. The shimmer golden work on the gown accentuates her sexy curves. The perfect cuts with closed neckline adds opulence to the dress. We love her glossy lipstick, dazzling eye makeup , red nail paint which completed the look of her gown. She carried a stylish clutch which was worth noticing.

I started writing on this blog in November 2011, with a keen interest with Indian Ethnic Fashion, Since I didn't have any experience or could not get an entry-level position or an internship, I made the decision for blogging to demonstrate my writing talents as well as my love of Indian Ethnic fashion. I posted my Indian style ideas and suggestions that help others try something new and to have fun in their clothes, regardless of Size. I generally disagree with the fashion standards of most people and do not believe in wearing clothes that fit your body shape.
