5 Common Bra Issues that Each Women Should Know

It is important for all women to wear perfect bras. It would not only give the right shape to your breast but are sometimes needed for different medical purposes. Wearing them would improve your overall look apart from the fact that wearing them has become a social standard in recent times. It is to be mentioned that when you wear a bra, around 80% of the weight of the brest gets distributed on the band and thus you end up feeling more comfortable. However, wearing them daily, you might face certain problems which should not be overlooked. In this article, we would not only address those issues but would also try to solve them.

#1.Strap Slips Bra Issue

In order to fix a strap that keeps on slipping, if you haven’t already, try to tighten it. When you wear the same bra over a period of time, chances are there that the straps would get stretched. Thus we would suggest you tighten it on a monthly basis.

In case the tightening trick does not work, then it is high time that you should change the style of the bra that you wear. You can go for full coverage or a demi bra that typically have a narrow set strap. This would help you to keep the straps of your bra on your shoulder throughout the day. Depending on the shape of your body, bras with wide straps like that of Balconette would slip off more easily. Hence when you go for bra shopping next, try to buy the models which have a thin strap.

#2.Straps Dig Bra Issue

It is believed that the straps are the things which should carry the weight of your breast issue, but this is not the case. It is the band that should bear the burden and thus ideally, your straps should not dig in. But in case it does, then that would mean that the straps are too big or it has stretched out over the course of time. In order to solve this problem, you should go to one band size down. This means that the sister size of your regular bra would help you to get the correct fitted one.

In case you have a D cup or bigger size, then go for bras that have a narrow strap. Also, the straps should be centred on the shoulders and this would ensure that the weight in the bra is distributed evenly.

#3.Gapping Cups Bra Issue

If your breast shapes are Asymmetric, east-west, bell or slender shaped then the chances of gapping cups become quite common. These are the breast shapes that would not rest easily at the bottom of the cups. This leaves a room at the top for cup gapping.

In case you have cup gaps, then try to tighten the straps of your bra. In case that does not work for you, then wearing a bra with a cup size down would do the trick. Cup gaps typically occur when the cup size is too big for your breasts. In case the cup fits properly but still there is a gap at the top, then consider buying push up bras which would push your breasts to the upward direction reducing the cup gaps.

#4.Overflow Bra Issue

This is the most common problem which occurs for most women wearing bras- side overflows. This is a sure sign of the fact that your cup is of smaller size than what you would actually need. Going for a cup size up would easily solve your problem. You also use the same trick in case you feel that the band size is smaller for you. Wearing the right cup size would make your breast fit into a bra like a glove.

#5.Wire sits Bra Issue

In case the bra wire sits on your breast tissues, then that would mean your band is of too big size. This would call for an investment in the smaller band size. This would ensure that the fit is tightened. In case you wish to size down in band size then it is advisable that you should downsize the cups of your bra. This would ensure that your breast has enough room for breathing.

We have addressed all the common issues faced by women related to their bras and have also given solutions that would sort the issue out for you. We hope this will be helpful for you. And you would be able to buy the right bra which would fit you the best from the next time.
